College of Forestry, Sirsi is one of the premier institutes of forestry education in the country and a constituent college of the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad. The college is situated in one of the hot spots of bio-diversity in the world - the Western Ghats. College of Forestry has an immense role to play in identifying, documenting and conserving biological diversity which is unique to this part of the country with a mission to become a premier institute in developing human resource in the field of forestry who will be responsible and socially committed to the real stake holders.
