College of Forestry, Sirsi
The Alumni Association, College of Forestry, Sirsi, came into being in January 2013, with the objectives of promoting professional growth and development of forestry in all spheres, improving forestry – including plant/tree and animal wealth of the state and the country, promoting overall societal development through forestry-related activities, conservation of flora, fauna, water, and other natural resources, etc. The initial activities of the Association include fostering interactions between present students and knowledgeable dignitaries from outside, and providing financial assistance to needy students of the College of Forestry, Sirsi. The Association was instrumental for the successful conduct of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations commemorating 25 years of the Forestry Degree Programme. And also conducted the Winter Meet in the year 2020 to interact with the present students and the Second Alumni Meet was conducted during 24-25 December 2022. The Association is guided by an Executive committee of 18 people which includes six office bearers. More than 720 alumni have become its life members and the strength is expected to go up very soon.
